The Black Sheep, Stan the Bull and Henry the Mouse are the ultimate team to save the world! A sheep who ran from the herd, a bull who ran from the bull-fight and a mouse who ran from the lab: three heroes ready to fight against bad guys, criminal scientists, corrupt politicians and all those ugly, block-headed and weird people around. Together, they are able to solve any problem… even if the problems are themselves!

Three HEROS who teamed up to help people (both 'animal' and 'human' people), defeat the bad guys and save the world, while trying to keep away from their evil ennemies, the SHEPHERD (and DOG), the TORERO and the SCIENTIST.

THE BLACK SHEEP is a cartoon comedy which performs irony, nonsense, slapstick and satire. This is a story about three friends who had trouble in the past and now fight to help others. Through situations, dialogs and gags the main objective is (of course) fun and laughs for the kids of any age all around the world.

Educational issues

Fun is the objective, we are not trying to impart lessons disguised as a cartoon. Anyway, if there's an implicit 'message' for the young audience it is this: we are equal although we are different; be yourself, don't be afraid to assert your own identity, accept the others just as they are, and help people if you can.

Characters

The heroes

BLACKY is smart and valiant, funny, somewhat eccentric and very optimistic. She has a gift for speech, she can speak and speak until you believe her or fall asleep. She is (more or less) the leader or the team and usually –not always– she has the ideas and makes plans of action (her success rate ranging from quite good to complete disaster). She carries all kind of things –from a rope to a drum kit– pocketed into her black fleece, ready for use when needed.

STAN is the strenght, both physical and ethical. He is a brave guy with a deep sense of honour and loyalty, a Quixote Bull. He speaks in a very polite way and is always well mannered, but he is also a little bit proud and admits no offence to his honour. When he thinks their friends are about to do something he considers 'not fair' he prevents them from doing it; sometimes his excess of qualms are ridicoulous and take them all to funny situations.

HENRY is a speedy, crazy, friendly mouse. Because of the odd experiments a mad scientist made on him, Henry possesses some super-hero powers, including flying, invisibility, super sight, etc.; but he has scarce control over them, and they tend to be a trouble rather than a help. For example, he tries to become invisible but becomes a giant instead, etc. He speaks in a fast, nervous, faltering way.

The bad guys and girls

The SHEPHERD and DOG. The shepherd VIRGIL is a rude peasant and his dog SCIPIO is a rude peasant's dog. Both them are very proud of their skills as shepherds and they used to boast about themselves being the only shepherds in the world who never had let a sheep to escape... until BLACKY ran away from the flock!
They have sworn to get her and take her back.

The TORERO (Bullfighter) & his WIFE SHARON. CHIQUITO DEL BURLADERO is a great bullfighter who has killed hundreds of bulls. He is vain and haughty, ignorant and so thick that you can't hate him, he makes you laugh instead. He is furious about STAN, who made a monkey of him at the bullring and brought his prestige down.
SHARON del BURLADERO is Chiquito's wife; she is wise, calculating, cold. She loves money and luxury. Because of her intelligence, she rules over her husband.

THE MAD SCIENTIST. DR ABUSE is a scientist who wants to create a twisted Superman for his own service and for achieving his purpose of dominate the world. To do this, he makes sick experiments with mouses and other animals. But his better achievement until now was HENRY, who ran away from the lab. DR ABUSE is (even more) crazy about this and needs to take HENRY back to continue his experiments.

The friends

TOM, is a VETERINARY, a nice guy always ready to help. He loves animals and mostly prefers them to humans. He is somewhat shy, but when it comes to stand up in front of injustice he is ready to act. TOBY is the cat owned by TOM (so he is TOM'SCAT); is a homey cat, but sometimes he feels like adventure and then he joins BLACKY & co. in their missions.
